META, a California-based company founded in 2012, is bringing augmented reality to consumers. META was part of the prestigious Y Combinator accelerator, and went on to raise almost $200,000 on Kickstarter. The META 1 Developer Kit and META Pro will allow users to to interact with their devices by projecting holographic images and detecting the users hand gestures.
