Founded in 1968, California-based Intel is a leader in the development of computer processing chips. Intel has long been a market leader in microprocessors, and has had a strong focus on the wearables arena by developing products such as the MICA bracelet, and a processor specifically for wearables named Curie. Intel also acquired Basis Health in 2014.
