Intel Officially Buys Basis Science

Intel is looking to run faster into the wearables market with its acquisition of healthtracker maker Basis Science. Basis had been reportedly courted by a few interested parties including Google. Though Intel did not release the purchase price, industry experts are estimating the deal to be worth about $100 million.
