Harman The Official Headphone & Audio Partner of NBA

One of the global leaders in the audio market, HARMAN has partnered with the NBA to become the league’s official audio and headphone partner. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and Harman Chairman, President and CEO Dinesh Paliwal made the announcement at the Harman Flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City.
The partnership will enhance audio experience in both the arena and at home. Harman’s products will be featured in NBA events worldwide and integrated into NBA league operations and events. Harman will also provide their products to players and coaches. In addition, as early as this holiday season, Harman will produce NBA-branded audio products for fans around the entire world. The products planned will include team and player branded headphones and portable speakers. Additionally, Harman will present the NBA All-Star Entertainment Series, bringing musical performances to State Farm All-Star Saturday Night and during pregame introductions and halftime show at the NBA All-Star Game.
“This groundbreaking partnership showcases the intersection of technology and entertainment, and provides our tech-savvy fans with another way to further connect with their favorite team and players,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
Harman will have a large presence at NBA events throughout the year and Harman will debut new NBA-themed advertising, promotions, and sweepstakes. CEO Dinesh Paliwal estimates that wearables will make up $200 million for Harman in 2015.
