Google Glass Heads to the UK

Google Glass took to their Google+ page to announce that the long awaited international expansion of their Glass Explorer Program is finally happening. Google is now allowing for residents of the UK to sign up.

Google claims that the most frequently received question was when the Explorer Program would be available outside of the US. They are launching their UK program with an event on June 27th & 28th in London. For those interested, an RSVP to the event allows for trying on the glasses, and meeting Explorers familiar with the device and its uses. The event is the day after Google’s I/O Conference in San Francisco, perhaps hinting towards an announcement of larger commercial releases or further international expansion of the Explorer Program.
