Google Glass Explorer Edition Available in Google Play Store

After months of improvements, additions and add-ons via their “live product testing” known as the Explorer Program, Google Glass is finally available to the public via Google Play, along with a number of other devices that Google has put out recently, such as the Moto360.

Google is trying to make Glass a little more accessible despite the astronomical price tag for most consumers by throwing in a free pair of shades or frames with the purchase of Glass. Not that it makes Glass that much relatively cheaper to get, the free addition of some much needed frames is a nice touch.

As Google continues to develop Glass, there’s no doubt that accessibility for the main public will be a key point of improvement. They have already begun partnering with different fashion companies to make Glass more stylish, a trend that just about every tech company is attempting with their own wearables. Soon Google won’t even be the only company with smart glassware in the market, as Sony revealed their own smart glasses earlier this year at CES 2014.
