Avia-specific activity trackers to help you achieve your “Smart Goals”

Avia has earned its share of the athletic footwear and activewear apparel marketplaces since 1979. This week, the brand entered into the wearable tech game by announcing the introduction of Avia-specific activity trackers and apps in partnership with Lifeworks.

Avia, owned by Sequential Brands Group, Inc., revealed the initial wearable tech line will include Bluetooth-enabled activity trackers, digital pedometers and heart-rate monitors, smartphone armbands, active-sport earbuds, performance insoles, headbands, waistbands, and other running and fitness accessories. The company’s goal is to “unite performance and function to support athletes at every level.”

Sequential also unveiled Avia Ascend, the app that will support the line of fitness trackers through “SmartGoal” and “FoodGenius” features. Additionally, Avia Ascend will include “Monthly Challenges” that reward users with real prizes for reaching certain milestones. The app will work with the Avia Stride, Avia Tempo, and Avia Touch fitness trackers, priced from $39.99 to $59.99 at major retailers across the nation.
